Terms and Condition

 

Rates & Taxes

All room rates are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and include 20% VAT. A discretionary 5% service charge will be added to your room rate at check-out. Exchange rates are for guidance only, and all accounts are settled in GBP.

 

Guarantee & Payment 

A valid credit card is required to confirm all reservations. On arrival, an authorisation will be taken to secure your stay and any incidental charges, with final payment processed at check-out. For certain bookings – including suites, festive stays, and special offers – deposits or advance payments may apply.

 

Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancellations must be received by 3:00 pm local time, two days prior to arrival, to avoid a charge equal to one night’s stay. The River Penthouse, group reservations, and selected rate packages are subject to bespoke cancellation policies, which will be outlined when booking.

 

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out by 12:00 pm. Some packages may include alternative arrival and departure times, which will be confirmed at the time of booking.

 

Rooms

Each of our rooms and lofts has its own unique character. Quoted room sizes are indicative, and website images are for reference only — your allocated room may vary in layout and design.

 

Children

Children aged 16 and under should share a room with an accompanying adult. Extra bedding is available at no additional cost, subject to availability.

 

Pets

St. Clement welcomes house-trained pets. A £200 deep-cleaning fee applies per stay. For cats, in addition to the deep-cleaning fee, a refundable £1,500 deposit will be taken upon arrival and returned at departure, subject to a satisfactory room inspection. Pets may not be left unattended in guest rooms or enter restaurants or the Health Club (service and support animals are exempt). Guests are responsible for any damage or disturbance caused.

 

Smoke-Free Environment

St. Clement maintains a smoke-free setting throughout all indoor areas. This applies to cigarettes, cigars, pipes, e-cigarettes, and vape devices.

 

Guest Responsibilities

Guests are kindly asked to respect the hotel environment and fellow guests. Liability may apply for any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required. Disruptive behaviour may result in an early departure without refund.

 

Hotel Rights

In exceptional circumstances the hotel reserves the right to refuse service, cancel, or relocate a reservation. Should this occur, alternative accommodation of equal standard will be arranged where possible.
